Tim Lemke has been writing about business and investments for nearly 20 years. He began his career as a reporter for newspapers including The Washington Times and Washington Business Journal, where he covered everything from stocks and real estate and the business of sports.
His work included coverage of the dot-com bubble, the Enron scandal, the attacks of September 11, the issue of steroids in baseball, and the construction of Nationals Park.
After several years running a local news website in Maryland, he worked as a writer and content manager for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
As a freelance and contract writer, has worked as a copywriter for major financial services companies and business trade groups, and continues to write for many outlets focused on investing and personal finance.
Tim has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and American Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park.
