In fact, just last month I bought a great pair of black dress boots online. The ad that came to my email inbox said the boots were on sale for $39.99, which I thought was a good price. So, I added the boots to my online cart, selected the free shipping option, and completed the purchase.
The following week I got another ad from the same store and saw that the boots I had purchased were on sale for an even lower price – $25.

If you have more than one email address you use for online purchases, you can open up a Paribus account for each email address you use for online shopping. Email accounts cannot be linked together on one Paribus account, however. Perhaps this will be a feature they add later.
After you sign up, the Paribus Receipt Fetcher works to monitor the receipts that come into your email box (or boxes) and checks for price drops for the items on the receipts.
Once an eligible claim is detected, Paribus contacts the retailer on your behalf and files a claim requesting a refund.
When an eligible price adjustment is approved from the retailer, Paribus makes sure you get your money back – all of it. You get to keep 100% of the savings.
You don’t even have to give Paribus access to the credit card you paid for the purchase with. The refunding store will simply credit the difference to the credit or debit account you paid with, or give you a store credit for the adjusted savings amount if a refund to your credit card isn’t an available option.
Depending on the retailers, refunds are usually received within three to seven business days from Paribus.
How Does Paribus Work?
Since its inception in 2014, Paribus has filed over $6.5 million in claims for its users. Paribus algorithms work by first identifying recent purchases (those made in the last 30 days) based on shipping and order confirmation emails found in your email inbox.

Paribus currently monitors receipts from many well-known retailers including Kohl’s, Old Navy, Target, Walmart, Sears, Wayfair, Costco, to name a few.

What Else Do I Need to Know About Paribus?

Also, it’s important to remember that retailers have different refund policies and that these policies may occasionally require additional action from you in order to complete your refund.
Whenever possible, though, Paribus obtains a refund without any interaction from you. And Paribus doesn’t scan all of your emails – only those with transactional data.
At this time, Paribus is only available for purchases made in the United States. Paribus does not sell your email or other personal information either. They’re committed to keeping your personal information confidential.
Paribus makes it easier to save money for customers when items they’ve purchased have gone on sale. As I’ve personally experienced, it takes a lot of work to get a lower price on an item after you’ve already purchased it. Monitoring all of the store ads that might have additional money savings on prior purchases you’ve made is also not very realistic for most people to keep tabs on.
