Can you upload a temporary check and get it deposited onto a cash app card?

  2. Hi, im not from US im from Philippines to be exact. However, I was able to find an online task and luckily i got hired. Now, Since im not from US they issue me a check as my payment. Is there a proper way or the fastest way for me to encash my check? Or what should I do?

  3. INGO money. I had the same problem of attempting to cash a check, get an error message A103 then get logged out. I was able to log back on to contact their support team, then get a email saying their mailbox is full which makes no sense to me. Finally when I emailed during their business hours. I was told I that im a potential risk due to their criteria and my account is closed. I was dumbfounded at that point what my risk was, when my credit score from all 3 credit bureaus is excellent. I’m evenin great standings with telecheck and certegy. The check I submitted was good because when I got booted I went and cashed it at a local branch with zero problems. Don’t advocate for them as a solution for check cashing, that causes more new one transaction customers to waste time. It’s crazy they boast how much money in checks they cashed for people, and I’m wondering how much of that cash was actually allocated to their victims

  4. How do I deposit a personal check onto my own debit card if I don’t have a bank account?

  5. My check was not approved on the mobile upload.. can I still cash it? I tried to take to Walmart to cash the check, but they denied me! Plz help

    1. Check your bank! If not, see if some of the other suggestions in the article might work for you!

  6. Does the Ingo app cash a cashiers check, or put it onto a prepaid debit card? Also, how soon does it post onto the card? Thanks.

    1. For the answers to these questions, you should go follow the links in this post so you can check it out.

  7. For Money Mart, when you go to the check cashing store, or any other place on there, you can’t cash a check online. It wants you to locate a store.

    1. Once you are on that page, look at the bottom of the page. There is a link that says, “The Check Cashing Store”. If you follow it, you can cash your check online.

  8. Can you leave a link to that online check cashing for money mart? I went to the site and found nothing.

    1. You should be able to click on check cashing near the top of the page to get to it. However, if that doesn’t work, check out the site map at the bottom of the page. If you click it there is a link for contacting them to ask directly.

  9. Money Mart DOES NOT OFFER ONLINE CHECK CASHING.

    1. Actually, I believe they do. If you go to their website and click on check cashing it will take you to a site where you can cash your check online. That site is still owned by Money Mart.

  10. Tammy Beltz says:

I have been trying to talk to someone at Ingo for days. I have tried and tried to reset my password and they never email me anything. Hopefully one of these other places will work. Something really should be done about Ingo. They are everywhere and if you have a problem you’re in a mess.

    1. You could try to contact them. At the bottom of their main page is a little green message icon. If you click it you can send them a message. I hope you get the help you need to solve your login issues.

  11. Amber Mayhall says:

I was also screwed over by Ingo. They accepted and cashed my check via mobile deposit, then weeks later sent a letter claiming the check was no good. The check they were referring to was a check sent to me from closing my account with Capital One Bank. Now, if any app I try and use involves Ingo, I’m automatically blocked.

    1. If you haven’t already, I would try and contact them about it. If they cashed your check, you have a valid claim. If not, you might still have money in your closed account. To find that out you could check with Capital One. I hope you get it sorted out. Thanks for commenting.

  12. April Miller says:

Ingo charges fees to cash a check. The lowest is $5.00. So, if you have a check for $5.89, you’ll receive only $.89. It’s ridiculous.

    1. Well, it does make sense that they must charge at least a little for their services. Additionally, there are some fees that would likely be the same, no matter how large or small of an amount they are cashing. Therefore, having a minimum fee makes sense. However, you are correct that for $5.89, it doesn’t seem worth it.

  13. Tara Walsh says:

Do I have to give my username and password to the person that’s writing the check to me?

    1. I am not sure that would be wise. However, each of these options probably has different procedures but will likely tell you what you need to do.

  14. I wouldn’t be referring anyone to INGO. They’re fraudulent. They have received tons of complaints. They took all of my personal info and pics of my check then denied me and logged me out.

    1. I am sorry you had a bad experience with them. Did you contact them about it?

    2. I had the same situation here. But they are huge and linked to almost every Prepaid card I have! I am thankful for this site. I had begun to believe there weren’t any other options besides INGO!

      1. I hope you have better luck with one of the others!

      2. Same thing with Ingo. But I can’t get a regular bank account. I have varo and PayPal but I need the money now as I have cancer and bills to pay. Anyone help me get this cashed online ASAP

    3. KRISSI WAYMAN says:

I’m trying to get a third party check cashed online. My husband signed it over to me and Ingo declined it. It took my information and logged me out. Do you have any ideas for another place that will take it?

      1. Were you using an Android phone? If so, that could be the problem. However, it is very difficult to cash a third party check online. You might waste less time taking it to the issuing bank or contacting them to find out how best to do it. I wish you luck!

  15. I found a check in my belongings that is from 06/17/14. What can I do?

    1. Can you ask the person to re-issue the check?

  16. I cash checks online via my credit union’s mobile app all the time. There’s only been a couple of times where the app wouldn’t accept the check – either it was too blurry, or it didn’t quite capture the numbers – and I had to have it cashed in person (so don’t throw away a check until the funds are available!) There was also another time where the check was too large for me to cash it via the mobile app – that was the check I received from selling my house, so about $29k.

    1. Josh Patoka says:

I had a similar experience. Keep the check for at least two or three days afterwards, but I must admit, Mobile Deposit is a lot simpler to use than it was 10 years ago when I first started using it.

    2. What credit union was that . Mine has been frustrating with its $1500 daily limit
