Here is my review of Credit Sesame
For the longest time, AnnualCreditReport.com was the only place that I knew you could get your free credit reports, however, that is no longer the case. Credit Sesame not only pulls your credit report but it also gives you your credit score for free.
In addition to that, if you are looking for a credit card with a lower interest or with a better rewards program, they have easy-to-use search tools based on a variety of credit card categories such as “Best Cards”, “Balance Transfer Cards”, “Low Interest Cards”, “Rewards Cards”, “Cash Back Cards”, and various other categories. The comprehensive search tool allows clients to customize their credit card search without having to browse the Internet for days on end looking for the best credit card for their needs. With Credit Sesame’s easy search tools, the best available credit card deals are listed in one convenient place, making your search for the best credit card infinitely easier.
Finding the best mortgage lender
Credit Sesame also has a similar search page for helping consumers find the best deal on mortgage loans. Simply enter in the purchase price of the home you want to buy – along with the amount of your down payment – the zip code in which the home resides, your income and your credit score, and their comprehensive search system will help find the best interest rates for your particular mortgage needs.
This is great because you will get a more accurate picture of what interest rates and closing costs can be. Because each customer’s mortgage needs are different, it is important to search for a variety of mortgage lender companies to help ensure you choose the mortgage that helps put your best financial foot forward. Credit Sesame has the experience, the tools, and the expertly-trained staff to help you do just that.
Whether you’re looking for a 30-year or a 15-year mortgage loan, you can find what you need at the best rate available for your individual mortgage situation.
If you’re in the market for a new car, Credit Sesame can help. Offering services such as auto insurance quote comparisons with top companies around the nation and searching auto loan interest rates from national and local lenders in your area, thy help ensure you can manage your auto spending in a way that helps you keep more money in your pocket that might otherwise go to lenders. Paying interest is often a part of holding an auto loan; however, it’s never wise to pay a higher interest rate than you have to – based on your individual credit situation.
With Credit Sesame, you can compare different auto insurance companies so that you can get the best deal.

Keep Your Credit Score and Identity Safe
Keeping consistent track of your credit score and your credit report information goes a long way in not only preventing long-term damage from credit reporting errors but also aids in helping to deter would-be credit thieves from doing serious damage to your credit and your identity should a thief get access to your credit reporting information.
Recent studies show at least 1 out of every 20 people are victims of identity theft and credit fraud and as much as 25 to 50 billion dollars are stolen every year through various identity theft methods. That is cold hard cash leaving the pockets of credit card companies, banks, and yes, consumers like yourself as well.
By helping clients keep tabs on their credit score and on their credit report, Credit Sesame provides front-line protection from credit reporting errors and potential identity theft – whether it be through a stolen credit card, a medical theft situation or an incorrect bill on their credit reports.
Their identity theft experts have put together an ID theft program that covers all aspects of ID theft recovery. Their Premium ID Theft program offers between $50,000 and $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance coverage, downloadable monthly credit reports, and regular credit monitoring and analysis for any potential problems with your credit report.
- Identity Restoration Services
- Credit Dispute Resolution Services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Stolen/Lost Wallet Resolution Services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Public Records Monitoring
- Social Security Number Monitoring
Yes, that is right, they offer social security number monitoring as well. Thieves use a stolen social security number in a variety of ways in order to gain the benefits that belong to you. Not only do identity thieves use the stolen numbers to open credit accounts and obtain free medical care, but more hauntingly, they use stolen numbers to gain access to government benefits that belong to unsuspecting consumers.
Their “Premium ID Theft” program helps protect your credit report and social security number from a growing occurrence of a wide variety of “new wave” identity theft crimes. These crimes range from social security pension theft, social security disability theft, and other thefts involving the use of a stolen social security number and government benefits.
With such comprehensive services available from the expert staff, you’ve all but guaranteed your protection against would-be credit thieves looking to gain access to your credit reputation for the purpose of committing fraud and theft against the credit reputation you’ve worked so hard to gain. Do not take a chance on letting would-be criminals destroy your credit and your reputation. Instead, look to the staff at Credit Sesame to help protect your credit report, your identity and your reputation as you focus on building wealth and creating a financial peace of mind for both your family and for yourself.
Conclusion
Credit Sesame believes that by helping consumers with every aspect of their financial planning – whether it be investing, borrowing, and credit monitoring, it can offer a full-service financial package to a wide variety of consumers who are in all sorts of different stages of financial planning.

Maureen @ A Debt Free Stress Free Life
In my opinion, there is no such thing as a “good” credit card. If you’re in debt, the last thing you need is another credit card. Most people don’t have the discipline to pay off their balances each month. If you do, then you’re in the minority. Save for what you want or need instead of putting it on plastic.

This is an interesting review. I know a number of people who use Credit Sesame and will definitely look into using it myself. I think a core theme of financial success is remaining attentive to the many less centrally important financial decisions which, taken together, are very impactful. It’s kind of like when one is trying to lose weight and cuts out all the worst foods in their diet but overlooks the many smaller snacks which add up in calories. I’m always on the lookout for useful tools in helping to keep track of these financial “snacks,” and, from everything I’ve read about it and heard, Credit Sesame seems like it could really help in this.
I also don’t think I realized, prior to reading this review, that Credit Sesame had that ID Theft program you mentioned. I know of a friend who had his social security number stolen, so now I sometimes get concerned whenever I’m asked on a form to include my own. That and the credit analysis piece sound like they could be pretty useful features.

Credit Sesame bombards you with annoying emails every day. Then you try to unsubscribe, and it’s not possible. They make you delete your account. It’s a total waste.
