10 sites like swagbucks

If you like making money by completing various everyday online tasks, you might be familiar with Swagbucks.

There are several other sites like Swagbucks that pay you money to take surveys, play games, watch videos, and shop online just to name a few activities.

You might consider using these alternative sites like Swagbucks to boost your online income.

What Are The Best Websites Like Swagbucks?

You might be surprised to discover there are several other websites like Swagbucks.

Each site offers different award activities and payment methods, so you’ll get to choose the one that best fits how you want to make money and how you want to get paid.

It’s free to join any of these other sites, so you begin making money when you complete your first paid task.

Because there are so many ways to make money on Swagbucks, you might only participate in one or two different activities–like taking surveys and shopping online–to earn rewards points.

1. InboxDollars

InboxDollars is one of the most similar sites to Swagbucks. You earn money by reading emails, watching videos, taking surveys, playing games, and signing up for offers. And, you also earn your first $5 just for signing up!

Compared to Swagbucks, InboxDollars’ rewards system is very straightforward. With every task you complete, you earn a monetary reward.

You can redeem the rewards for mailed checks, prepaid Visa gift cards, or select retail gift cards.

You can be confident that you can make money online with InboxDollars as they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Since 2000, InboxDollars’ members have made over $57 million in cash rewards.

2. instaGC

Another platform is instaGC. They’re popular for their instant prize delivery and customer service.

Their $1 gift card payouts to over 360 different brands which is the lowest payment requirement for our list of recommendations.

You earn points for the following activities:

  • Completing surveys
  • Watching videos
  • Searching the web
  • Shopping online

Each point is worth one penny (i.e., 100 points = $1) and can only be redeemed for gift cards.

One downside is that instaGC doesn’t offer cash gift cards (PayPal cash). But retail and restaurant gift cards can be as valuable as cash when they’re for a business you frequent regularly.

3. MyPoints

MyPoints is the Swagbucks sister site and has been around since 1996.

You can make money by taking surveys, watching videos, playing games, redeeming coupons, buying e-gift cards, surfing the web, reading sponsored emails, and shopping online.

Even though MyPoints and Swagbucks are owned by the same parent company (Prodege), they have different payouts for earning points. Their gift cards also have different redemption values.

Redeem your points for PayPal cash or Visa prepaid cards (if you want cash), over 70 retail gift cards, or United Airlines frequent flier miles.

Some of these prizes are not available on Swagbucks, so it’s another reason to at least consider combing through the MyPoints gift catalog.

4. PrizeRebel

Start making money in 10 seconds with PrizeRebel! That’s how long the sign-up process takes.

Like Swagbucks, you earn points that you can redeem for gift cards or cash by taking surveys.

Seven million members have participated in their surveys since 2007. There aren’t as many opportunities as Swagbucks, but the payout options are very flexible.

Redeem your points for PayPal cash after your balance reaches $5. This amount is lower than many other get-paid-to sites. Others require a reward balance as high as $20 or $50 for each payment.

It’s also possible to redeem your points for $2 Amazon gift cards. Or, they will pay in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, as well.

5. Survey Junkie

If you primarily enjoy making money by taking surveys, Survey Junkie is one of the best sites. You can take surveys on any device and get paid by PayPal or electronic gift cards when your account balance reaches $10.

You can begin making points after completing your profile and being matched with surveys that allow you to influence brands and retailers you use on a regular basis.

Of all the paid survey sites, Survey Junkie is one of the most reputable and also has a low payout threshold which means you get paid more frequently!

6. Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost will provide a survey invitation at least once a week on a variety of topics. It only takes a few minutes to join and complete your profile.

One advantage of joining Opinion Outpost is you can get paid a very reasonable reward balance of $5 for cash or gift cards.

They also have a quarterly $10,000 cash sweepstakes that you enter automatically after you complete each survey.

7. PointsPrizes

Earn points that you can redeem for PayPal cash, Bitcoin, and gift cards on PointsPrizes.

You earn points by:

  • Completing surveys
  • Signing up for sweepstakes
  • Downloading apps
  • Shopping online
  • Referring friends

Joining PointsPrizes is free. They even screen all offers for viruses and malware to protect your computer and mobile devices.

Maybe you like watching videos or doing quick tasks like data entry or web research that only take five minutes or less.

8. Panel PayDay

You can earn $25 just for signing up with Panel PayDay. You can earn anywhere from $1 to $150 depending on the task on Panel PayDay.

Some of the paid opportunities include online surveys, mystery shopping, participating in focus groups, and other online jobs.

Online surveys are typically the most lucrative way to make money with Swagbucks. Panel PayDay can help provide more daily survey invitations than Swagbucks to help you quickly find the highest-paying surveys.

Panel PayDay partners with other survey companies and will try to match you with two to four surveys every month. You can expect to be paid in cash or points, depending on the survey provider.

9. Rakuten

Maybe you primarily use Swagbucks to get cash back by shopping online. With Rakuten you only earn rewards for shopping. You might earn more on Rakuten than on Swagbucks.

Since Rakuten earns up to 40% cash back at more than 2,000 online stores, you might even get paid to shop at places that Swagbucks doesn’t offer.

By linking your credit or debit card, you can earn cash back on select in-store purchases at more than 30 national retailers and restaurants.

At the end of each calendar quarter, you will receive payment when your cash-back balance is at least $5.01.

Bonus Tip: Get a $10 cash bonus after making your first $25 online purchase with Rakuten.

10. MTurk

Do you redeem your Swagbucks for Amazon gift cards? Many of the sites listed above offer Amazon gift cards, but MTurk is Amazon’s version of Swagbucks.

You can get paid in Amazon gift codes or cash–direct bank deposit or mailed check–when you complete the various surveys and micro-tasks on MTurk instead of Swagbucks.

MTurk is a worthy alternative if you primarily use Swagbucks for surveys and participate in the “Tasks” tab. You might prefer MTurk as a change of scenery.

You will find more opportunities like:

  • Data entry
  • Transcribing audio or video lyrics
  • Web research
  • Categorizing survey results

You might not be a full-time virtual assistant, but it can be a fun way to explore different side hustles to decide how to earn even more money in your free time.

Why Consider a Swagbucks Alternative?

Swagbucks is a fun way to make money online. You have so many different activities to choose from to make money.

Variety might be the “spice of life,” but it also makes it hard to maximize Swagbucks if you don’t know where to focus.

Although smaller in most cases, these alternative reward sites can offer higher payouts or better reward options if you want to specialize in a particular web activity. Swagbucks is the largest get-paid-to platform.

Therefore, they can sometimes get away with paying less for your online activities because they receive more traffic than smaller sites.

The smaller sites like Swagbucks might offer more lucrative earning opportunities that steal visitors away from Swagbucks. If these alternatives didn’t provide any value, they’d be out of business, right?

You may think you can make more money using a smaller site than Swagbucks. If so, consider trying out one of the alternative sites listed above.

Summary

While using Swagbucks is an excellent way to make money online, it isn’t your only option.

You might choose other sites like Swagbucks because they offer higher activity payouts when you take a survey, refer a friend, or complete a product testing offer.

Many of the sites similar to Swagbucks also have lower payment thresholds, allowing you to get paid more frequently.

I love that you included Inbox Dollars since that’s where I started a couple of months ago before moving on to some Russian ad site—don’t worry it’s safe. You will have to use it with Google’s translate feature to make your way around. It’s in Russia – yes! A certain Russian ad network is paying 5 rubles — for those who don’t know, that is Russian money – for each “captcha” you solve. I say “captcha” because it’s not technically a captcha, but it looks like one. All you need to do to get your 5 rubles is view the ads, key-in the displayed number, and press “continue”. That’s it.

So how much can you make from it? Well, in a couple of hours I made about 11700 rubles which translate to about $197.30.I withdrew it using Western Union.
Is it a scam? Well, you be the judge. You can withdraw from Web Money, Bank Transaction, Western Union, and a bunch of other payment methods I’ve never heard of.

Well, that’s just about all I wanted to add. Keep up the good work, Josh!
